I have a picture of my great-great grandfather, Sidney Robert Smith #1 on my mother's side. On the back of the picture is written: Sidney R. Smith born October 15, 1818. Died at the old home four miles west of Corinth, Mississippi or two miles south of Henasogo, Mississippi an old Memphis and Charleston R.R. about August 1, 1890. My questions is how can I find out more about him and this house? He is listed in the 1860 US Census. I have tried so many genealogy sites, with no luck. Maybe someone can lead me in the right direction. Thank you for your help. Please make plans to attend and express your concerns. Their lack of understanding of the proper procedures to follow is just another one of reasons we're concerned about their ability to safely manage a landfill in our community.
